Font d’Erbies: A luxurious farmhouse in the Lot, South West France

There is a large barn (8000 feet) on two levels. The top level contains table tennis, table football, badminton, a snooker table, and bicycles and children’s toys.

There is a smaller barn which has been converted to a self-contained family studio bedroom and bathroom.

The heated swimming pool is in a fenced area where is there is a large trampoline.

There are several different areas for outside eating, with a barbeque, and also a small house for children to play in.

We have guardians who live in a small house in the grounds, who will welcome you and show you the house. They will do the cleaning at the end of a tenancy, and could be available for domestic help or cater during your stay by prior arrangement.

Cots and highchairs are available.

The nearest village of Concots, has a bar, a good restaurant and a bakery selling some essentials. There is a market here every Sunday.

Limogne en Quercy which is 15 mins drive away, has a bank, Doctor, two small supermarkets, good butcher, fuel station and garage, pharmacy etc. Market Sunday morning which is larger than Concots.    

The historic cathedral cities of Villefranche de Rouerque and Cahors are both about 30 minutes away and have large supermarkets, many restaurants etc. and good markets.

The ancient village of Saint Cirq Lapopie is a famous artist community with lots of restaurants, bars, little shops, art galleries etc overlooking the Lot river. It is considered one of the prettiest villages in France.

There is a beach area and other areas to swim in the River Lot, wonderful hiking opportunities and lots of local locations to rent boats or kayaks.
